Focusing on the timeless, evocative texts from poetry, literature, history, stories, and more featuring a wide variety of styles, genres, languages, and cultures. This season, we celebrate word in song and all those with the gift of eloquence. We’re kicking off our season with for our first concert, Poetry in Motion, on October 25th, at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Dayton, highlighting the powerful and poignant poetry that moves and inspires us, along with a surprise announcement of a new project and opportunity to work with Musica. ANNUAL MEETING OCTOBER 13TH
The Annual Meeting of MUSICA, Dayton’s Chamber Choir, will be held on Tuesday, October 13th from 7-7:30 PM at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Oakwood. Any member wishing to place an item on the agenda is asked to submit their proposal via email to musicadayton@gmail.com no less than two weeks before the meeting. You may also request the minutes from the last Annual Meeting in October 2025. The agenda will then be posted for adoption at the meeting. Among the items that will be included is election of board members. The remaining terms for the current board members at the end of this season are:

Sheila Hart, Vice President - 0 years
Ren Jett, Treasurer - 1 year
Ed Drye, Secretary - 2 years
Steve Aldredge - 1 year
Whittney Perez - 1 year
Announced new candidates for the board are Hayley Stakem, a current singer, and Bryan Daly, a former singer and board member in the past. The board is composed of no more than 8 members.
